Want a booth at the upcoming CrowdConf 2011? Enter the Crowdsortium contest
Crowdsortium, a crowdsourcing industry group, has just announced a contest to give a crowdsourcing start-up the chance to win a Crowdsortium sponsored exhibitor booth at the CrowdConf 2011, which will take place in downtown San Francisco at the Mission Bay Conference Center between the first and the second of November.
Companies looking to participate at this contest must be or become a Crowdsortium member, be up to three years old, have received at least one round of funding, and must submit a blog entry between 200 and 400 words with a description of the company and the reasons why it should be considered the most up-and-coming crowdsourcing company.
The deadline to enter the contest is the 23rd of September by 11 A.M. MST. The blog entries with the highest number of retweets by the end of September will then be judged by Crowdsortium and Crowdflower, and a winner will be chosen and announced on the 3rd of October.
The winner will receive a booth at CrowdConf 2011, one minute on stage to present the company, and lodgings for one night. The runner-up will receive two tickets to the conference.
As crowdsourcing continues to rapidly grow and evolve, it’s incredibly valuable to have conferences such as CrowdConf to share ideas with others in the industry and expand our collective knowledge.
