uTest Launches New iPhone and iPad Applications to Drive Global Testing Projects
uTest, the world’s largest software testing marketplace, today launched its first iPhone and iPad apps to provide its customers and testers with the ability to access their software testing projects on-the-go. These apps help customers such as Google, AOL, Tapulous, and Groupon manage real-time global testing projects on the go.
Since uTest’s users tend to own iPhones, iPads, and iPod Touch devices, uTest crowdsourced their QA within their own testing community to test the iOS mobile applications. This real-world testing environment drove development and approval time by Apple from the standard 1-2 weeks down to one business day, proving that quality counts when driving key business development decisions.
Customers can now manage-on-the-go and:
- Keep real-time tabs on their functional, load, and usability testing projects
- Approve, reject and track reported defects and surveys from their iOS devices
- Communicate directly with testers
- Review screenshots and video attachments that highlight defects
Testers can now test-on-the-go and:
- Accept invitations to uTest projects and submit defects or surveys
- Test any app directly from their iPhones or iPads
- Upload defect screenshots and videos
- Respond to inquiries from customers and other testers
- View their earnings from uTest projects
Increasingly, retail, social and media apps have development and launch cycles that span 24 hours a day, around the globe. Additionally, our customers and testers are increasingly reviewing and testing apps on evenings and weekends when they’re not in front of their computer. With uTest’s iPhone and iPad apps, our customers can stay on top of their mission-critical testing projects anytime, anywhere.

These new global testing applications are free and available at the iTunes Store for download. Available flavors include iPhone app and iPad app.
uTest provides on demand application testing services through globally-sourced professional testers in four different application testing categories: mobile, gaming, web, and desktop. uTest’s community includes 30,000+ customers from six continents.
