[Crowd Leader: David Alan Grier] Report From CrowdConf 2011

Now that CrowdConf 2011 has come to a close it’s time to look at what the conference focused on and what questions where prompted. The spotlight was on industry and included an announcement about new industry associations; there were also lots of great exhibits and activities. But the real questions were: what did the 2nd annual CrowdConf tell us? Where did it show us how industry is growing? And, what is going to happen in the coming year and years after that? Ultimately the key question that arose is whether crowdsourcing is an industry or a production process?
