I am pleased to announce that Peter LaMotte will be joining a group of elite crowdsourcing thought leaders today when he accepted his invitation to join Daily Crowdsource’s Crowd Leaders team. LaMotte is president of GeniusRocket, a platform that utilizes a curated crowdsourcing approach to deliver high-quality video, animation, and other creative content. GeniusRocket has produced advertising solutions for Fortune 500 corporations as well as local businesses and is home to a community of over 16,000 professionals across 180 countries.
LaMotte started his carrier at GeniusRocket as Director of Marketing during which time he orchestrated their move from a contest-based model to the current curated crowdsourcing model. Before coming to GeniusRocket, LaMotte was Vice President of Marketing at Intrepid Aviation, a FedEx spinoff company. While there, he managed and developed new branding and marketing strategies for the company as well as conducted extensive market analyses. LaMotte has also worked with some of the biggest names in the technology world such as IBM and Apple. Somehow, he manages to find time for his love of photography, golf, and travel.
LaMotte’s extensive experience and expertise growing GeniusRocket from a humble start-up to a leader in the curated crowdsourcing field makes him a valuable addition to our Crowd Leaders team. LaMotte’s first article will be published Monday and takes a fascinating look at three crowdsourcing initiatives that helped shape the world before the advent of the microchip.
