Zooppa Crowdsourcing Community Surpasses 100,000 members
Crowdsourcing advertising giant Zooppa, is celebrating a milestone achievement which has seen their worldwide creative community surpassing 100,000 members. This achievement highlights a year of significant growth for Zooppa’s community which has since seen an increase of over 85% from 54,000 members the previous year.
Since it was founded in Venice, Itlay in 2007 Zooppa has gone on to occupy a place as one of the world’s leading source of user-generated or crowdsourced advertising. The company works with some of the world’s leading brands and advertising agencies helping to produce fresh and compelling creative content. Zooppa specialises in providing major brand leaders and agencies with the means to use crowdsourcing to seek out creative print and video advertising through its social networking platform and powered by its online creative community. Clients submit their post creative briefs to Zooppa’s website. Community members, who scan the site regularly, then respond by submitting their prints and videos from which the brand client then chooses the best submission. The community member whose submission is chosen is then awarded a significant cash prize.
To date over $1.3 million dollars worldwide has been awarded to participants from over 35 states in the US as well as many countries from virtually every continent. In addition to the cash prize winning members also gain opportunities to produce work for some of the world’s leading brands including AT&T, Google, Diesel, Samsung and Warner Bros. as well as advertising agencies BBDO, Leo Burnett, and Mindshare. As Zooppa’s brand clientelle and membership expands so does its partner network of more than 50 creative and educational institutions which include the VCU BrandCenter, Los Angeles Film School Art Center College of Design (Pasadena).
