It's only natural to want to know a little bit about your crowd, but this start-up's preoccupation is a little more on the un-natural side. With a firm belief that much insight is to be gained by a well-understood crowd, this yet to be named (yes, they're waiting on a crowdsourcing contest to name it) company is going to use every tool in the book to map and understand their labor pool (as well as create ways for you as a crowdsourcing company to understand yours).
How do you understand your crowd?
Well, according to Tom Gilmore & his gonzo-for-crowdsourcing crew, there are lots of ways.
These include personality tests, games that reveal behavioral info, demographics, opinion surveys, tests, etc. Just to name a few...
Then what do you do with a well-understood crowd? You rent them out for labor and anonymous market research, of course. Exciting stuff!
Did I mention they don't have a name yet? That's because they want to crowdsource it along with the web design, web development, logo, and everything else.
Daily Crowdsource is excited to talk crowdsourcing with this enthusiastic group of innovators. We hope you can join us in welcoming them to the scene at the Crowdopolis afterparty.
