Listiki is a website to “find, make, and share lists of things you care about”, as its founders say. People can create any type of list they want, such as “top 10 places to go” or “top 5 things you shouldn’t do on a date”. It’s easy and started from the idea that “organizing things into lists comes extremely naturally to people”.
There are not many things to take into consideration when starting to create such a list – It can be of any length and each item can also include a URL. The only thing needed is an idea or a subject that requires some organization.
What makes Listiki different from other competitors, like Listology or Listverse, are its features that let users clone an existing list and edit it with their own preferences. The new list can change the order of the items, delete them, replace them, or add new items. Of course, a list can be shared with friends via Facebook or Twitter.
When choosing a list to clone, users either look for other people’s list or pick from a ‘master’ list that gathers all it’s users’ opinions on a topic and makes a general list. The master list is updated in real time which creates for a very easy way to find out current consumer preferences neatly organized in a crowdsourced list.
