Supernatural Webseries Launches Crowdfunding Campaign to Raise Funds For New Episodes

They live among us. Fallen angels and demons struggle to coexist along side with humans on the city of Los Angeles, torn between love and desire, violence and isolation.

Such is the premise of the recently launched film noir and gothic movie inspired webseries “They live among us” which has recently launched a crowdfunding campaign in Kickstarter to fund episodes 4, 5 and 6.

The first episode launched on the 1st November 2011 and is called “Pull my Strings”, the second episode “Fall from Grace” came out two weeks later and the third episode, called “Let’s do Lunch” is expected to be released in the 29th November 2011. All three episodes can be seen at the They Live Among Us website or at the youtube channel and they’re between 13 and 15 minutes long.

The Kickstarter campaign seeks to raise the $18,000 the production needs to pay the cast and crew for the next three episodes and will be on until the 2nd of December.

They Live Among Us is more than entertainment; it’s a project that addresses real human issues: homelessness, domestic violence, exploitation, drug addiction and isolationism. I was interested in the dichotomy of living in Los Angeles – a city of  million people, yet so many feel alone. Outsiders. I wanted to create snapshot stories of people’s lives – and their secrets: secret lives, secret loves, secret hopes and secret fears.
